A HERITAGE IN ENGINEERING
With a heritage steeped in engineering discover the history of Hunprenco from its humble beginnings to being a world leader in precision engineering.
Founded by Mr Eddie Neesom in 1969, Hunprenco began life as a small engineering workshop in a disused stable in the North Yorkshire village of Hunmanby on the east coast of England.
Eddie was approached by two gentlemen from a glass container industry in South Yorkshire to refurbish plungers for them. These humble beginnings led the company to where it is today.
Work continued to build and the decision was made to move the business to new premises, still under the name of Hunmanby precision engineers. This move was only temporary as the business grow rapidly.
Due to the demand of the high-quality products being produced, expansion was required again. This time in a purposely build facility on a newly founded industrial estate on the outskirts of Hunmanby. Along with new facility finally came the new name company Hunprenco.
Over the next decade Hunprenco invested and expanded. In 1999 Hunprenco established it Cooler division to provide cooling tubes for both NNPB and Standard Press/Blow production. Now working in three divisions. Plungers, Coolers and Precision engineering machine parts.
Hunprenco has held ISO9001 accreditation since 2010 by adhering to methodical procedures, high standards in supplying quality products and delivering excellence to their customers.
As a global supplier of bespoke design and manufacture products for the glass container industry, Hunprenco launches its brand new website.
